Out with the Old and in with the New!

As the year comes to the end; we should all take some time to think about what we have achieved throughout the year and set targets for new goals to accomplish in the New Year.

In 2018 we took on new staff and others left for pastures new.  We have met many new guests, both business travelers, student families and couples who have stopped in Plymouth for a short break, or just for the night before travelling to France or Spain on the Ferry or before making their way to another UK destination.

We recently refurbished the lounge / bar area; which now has 2 x seated booth areas that guests can either work at or eat a bar meal / or sit and enjoy a beverage in the evening,

At present we are undergoing the decoration and refurbishment of our first floor Double and Kingsize / Twin rooms.

In Spring 2019 the refurbishment of rooms will be complete and the new Luxury accommodation will be available.

Before the Summer 2019, the frontage of the hotel will be completely overhauled with new railings and a decked seating area on the left hand side of the hotel entrance.  It is our plan to serve food and beverages outside in the Summer if the weather permits.

In April 2018 we were inspected by the AA and informed that we are currently operating to a premium AA 3-star standard and if we could make a couple of alterations to the hotels appearance and service delivery , that we could achieve AA 4-star status.  We are pleased to announce that we are on track with our plan of refurbishment and our staff are all working hard to improve their customer service / hospitality skills to ensure our guests are always 100% satisfied with all aspects of their stay at the hotel.
