The Secret Party Venue

Here’s a little blog on the Invicta Hotel by Charlotte Malcolm, Avail Marketing

If you’re looking for somewhere to host your Christmas Party and have exhausted all the usual venues in Plymouth, then take a look at The Invicta Hotel.

Located overlooking Plymouth Hoe, The Invicta boasts a dedicated bijoux function suite that has been totally refurbished.

Now if ‘bijoux’ sounds like another word for pokey then you’d be very much mistaken. The room can comfortably cater for up to 50 seated guests or 70 if you’re planning on a buffet.

It benefits from its own private entrance and bar, meaning you and your guests can enjoy exclusive use.   And of course if you require overnight accommodation the hotel has a variety of rooms on offer for you to choose from.

The Invicta is a family run hotel and consistently receives excellent feedback from their guests. Praising both the rooms, the food and especially those who run it. Take a look at Trip Advisor and The Invicta Hotel Facebook page and you’ll see that they have many very happy customers. You can also see on the Facebook page some events they have recently hosted.

But whilst the Invicta Hotel is well known and loved in Plymouth for its excellent location and accommodation what it isn’t so well known for is its fabulous food and party facilities.

Head Chef Michael Deans has worked in some very well-known and respected restaurants in London and the South of England including the internationally acclaimed chef, Michel Roux Junior in his Michelin starred establishment. Michael has now made his home in the South West and is heading up the team at the Invicta Hotel.

Sourcing only the freshest of ingredients their Christmas menu offers you much to choose from. If traditional is your passion then the roast crown of turkey, pigs in blanket, chestnut and sage stuffing, cranberry relish, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables is certainly for you. But how about hoisin glazed salmon with ginger crème fraiche or will perhaps the roasted leg of Devon lamb tickle your tastebuds?  But don’t forget to leave some room for the Chefs Terry’s Chocolate Orange Mousse with Chantilly cream! Take a look at the full menu here.

Whether you’re organizing a party for your family and friends or hosting one for your colleagues from work then take a look at The Invicta Hotel, where you will enjoy a sumptuous meal whether at lunch time or in the evening. If you want to party into the evening then The Invicta Hotel will be happy to arrange for a disco to be included.

Hosting your party at the Invicta Hotel is not going to break the bank either, with Christmas parties starting from only £24.95 per person for a 3 course menu rising to £29.95 including entertainment.

Until I started working with Roy on some of their marketing I had no idea that they had such a fantastic food offering or even hosted parties and weddings! If this all sounds interesting then here’s their website www.theinvictahotel.co.uk. Roy Martin, the owner, will be very happy to show you around the venue and talk to you about your party requirements and how they can help you achieve them.
