BOOKING PROCESS

It is possible to simply turn up at The Invicta Hotel on the day and book there if we have rooms available for that night. However, it's less risky and you will get the best prices if you book in advance.

Call directly into the hotel and our receptionist will be happy to provide you the best rates possible rather than through an online booking platform.

Please note all preferences and requests in the “Add comment” area when making a reservation. Or you can call into the hotel directly to make a special request. The hotel will do everything possible to accommodate your request.

Yes, we accept cash payments. You can also pay by card using a secure online booking platform.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES

We'll do our best to accommodate your change in travel plans; however, policies regarding early check-in and late check-out depend on the day. Whilst we we do our best to help you, there is no guarantee that the request will be met. Call the hotel directly prior to your arrival to request early check-in or late check-out. Direct phone numbers for Invicta Hotel can be found on your confirmation email or on the hotel’s “Contact” page.

Check-in on day of arrival is from 3pm to 9pm. Check-out is 10:30am.

For arrivals after 9pm, please contact our reception directly to arrange out of hours check-in.

Hotel room rates vary by date and by the number of adults occupying a single room. To accommodate more guests, you need to change your reservation. You will be notified of any additional charges prior to confirming your updated reservation. Kindly note rooms will have a max capacity and we cannot provide any more beds.

OUR HOTEL

Invicta Hotel offers toiletries, towels, coffee/tea trays, hair dryers, kettles and complimentary Wi-Fi for all guests. Iron are available on request.

A complimentary full English breakfast is included when you book directly through our website or by phone.

Yes, we do offer car parking facilities at the hotel for a fee of £10 per vehicle per night, but this is subject to availability. Guaranteed parking can only be confirmed directly with our staff. Please speak to us to reserve parking. There are also other car park facilities near the hotel.

The hotel has a bar and restaurant. Our receptionist will be on hand to recommend and support as needed.

Unfortunately, due to it being a Grade Listed Property, our hotel does not have a lift and is only accessible by stairs. However, our team will be more than happy to help move your bags to your room if required.

We have a team dedicated to ensuring you have the best possible, whether it's a birthday or a wedding. We work with local suppliers and can provide a planner as needed. Please contact the hotel team directly to arrange an initial consultation.

Invicta Hotel welcomes dogs with prior arrangement at an additional cleaning fee of £15 per dog per night.

OUR ROOMS

Smoking is not permitted. The Invicta Hotel has a strict non-smoking policy within all parts of the hotel. There will be a £200 penalty for any smoking violations.

Children of any age can stay at the hotel if they are accompanied by an adult. An adult is considered to be those aged 18 years and above.

Yes, we do have meeting rooms in our hotel. Please contact our team in advance to discuss booking a meeting room.

Our rooms are for the guests that are named in the reservation. If any guests have any visitors, they can only be admitted with specific permission from of Invicta Hotel staff. If you are staying with us and expect any guests, please speak to our team before arrival.

CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS

Yes. If your travel plans change, you can cancel or modify your reservation in accordance with the Invicta Hotel cancellation policy as stated during the reservation process.

Yes, our cancellation policy allows free cancellations up to 48 hours before arrival; charges apply for late cancellations.

Unfortunately, if you fail to cancel your reservation, you will be charged 100% of the total hotel reservation amount. Cancellation policies are displayed during the terms and conditions, and are also listed in the confirmation email you receive upon making your reservation.

Yes, you can. The guest must bring with them the confirmation and a valid piece of photo ID.
